Finding the right spa filter
- Look for a part number on the end cap (OEM, Pleatco, Unicel or Filbur).
- Note your spa brand and model, but many brands use the same few cartridges.
- Measure length, outside diameter and both ends: spa cartridges often have threaded ends or handles that must match.
Search the filter finder or browse spa filters.
Care schedule
| Task | How often |
|---|---|
| Quick rinse | Every 1-2 weeks |
| Chemical soak / degrease | Monthly or when rinsing isn’t enough |
| Replace | About every 12-24 months |
Tips
- Keep a spare so you can swap and let one dry.
- Shower before soaking to cut oils.
- If the water turns cloudy quickly after cleaning, the filter is probably due.
